Firecracker Salmon

Firecracker Salmon I mean the name alone just gets me excited. I love the buttery goodness of the salmon paired with a spicey sauce. It hits all the tastebuds! I have become slightly obsessed with cold oven salmon. You plave your salmon in a cold, not preheated oven, crank the temp to 400 and set your timer for 20 mins. Depending on the thickness of your salmon you may need to cook 5 mins more.
Firecracker Salmon
Ingredients
- 11/2 lb salmon
- 1/4 cup olive or avocado oil
- 1/4 cup soy, tanari, or coconut aminos
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients together and pour over salmon marinate 20 mins or longer. Place salmon on a sheet pan covered with parchment or foil. Place in cold (not pre heated oven), Crank oven to 400 and set timer for 20 mins, could take 25 depending on thickness. Do not over cook! That's when the white stuff (fat) starts coming out the top and it will end up dry!
