    Fall is back and along with the change of the season, I am back to my Souper Sunday Meal Planning. I make a big pot of soup, stew or chowder every Sunday for a great Family Night Meal as well as a perfect add on to week day lunches. Tonight’s meal is inspired by Carrabba’s  Sausage & Lentil soup. 1 lb sweet Italian sausage, browned & drained 1 onion, chopped1 stalk celery, chopped2 carrots, chopped6 cups chicken broth1 28 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained2 cloves garlic2 cups dry lentils 1 tsalt, pepper, red pepper, basil, oregano, thyme & parsley  to taste Brown Italian…

  • Ivey’s Carrot Soup

    When you see the title of my post Carrot Soup it may not be the 1st thing you want to try, but let me tell you this soup is AMAZING!! When my girlfriend, Beth got married this was the starter that the “aunts” served at the Bridesmaid luncheon. It was so yummy that we all wanted to know what it was. Never did anyone think Carrots!
