Who doesn’t love a good cleaning hack?! So, cleaning silver. Ugh not fun! But this method is by far the easiest and quickest I have ever found. Pull out your aluminum foil and line your sink shiny side up! Boil a huge pot of water and pour in sink. Add: 1/2 c baking soda 1/2 c salt 1/4 c white vinegar Make sure your silver is in full contact with the foil and watch the magic happen! If it’s super tarnished like mine was it could take 15 mins but for less tarnished like the cream and sugar bowls it…

Today’s entry is in honor of my crazy, Martha. Martha is an absolute riot and the sayings that come out of her mouth are second to none. Martha and I sit and chat most Tuesday and Thursday afternoons while Maggie is in dance. Martha owns a children’s consignment store in Rock Hill, SC, so if you are ever this way let me know and I will hook you up with her. POACHED pork? Say what? Y’all, it works!!! Years ago, like the Christmas of 2013 my Aunt brought this dish for our family Christmas and it was so darn tasty that I too have now made it many times over! Now, the original recipe contains soy, which I will replace with coconut aminos since I also avoid gluten. You can use soy, tamari (gluten free soy…

First, a charcoal grill it adds tons of flavor with zero guilt! Next my love of fresh herbs & lemon juice adds so much. This recipe is so crazy simple and comes together in like 5 mins. It will take longer to get your grill ready!  I got John this great grill pan for Father’s Day. It works so well for veggies and I thought why go…

    December 18, 2019katgeitner

Y’all there is something so comforting and homey and lovely about Chicken Soup! And this one is a keeper!! I have created a dairy free version that even the foodiest of foodies might argue that it was full of cream and butter! It’s quite amazing really and this recipe is what I like to call a chop & drop. Basically chop all your veggies, grab your chicken, broth, and spices and dump them all into your instant pot or slow cooker! It’s really that simple and I even started with frozen, boneless, skinless chicken!! Dumped everything in the instant pot…
